LEOPAD GROUP SHE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The issue of Safety, Health and Environmental ( SHE ) Management in LEOPAD GROUP is given top priority.  The Board of Directors and the CEO are the prime movers in all matters relating to SHE in our operations, and the Group SHE Manager acts as their advisor.

The Top Management provides adequate resources for SHE by encouraging the engagement  of competent and efficient personnel to handle the SHE departments at all the branches.  This shows our total belief and commitment to SHE as an important aspect of our business operations.

To further demonstrate our strong commitment to SHE Management, the Group’s number one man chairs the Group SHE Management Committee meetings every 3 months once.  In his absence one of the Top Management will chair on his behalf.  All Branch Managers, Heads of Department and all the key SHE personnel of the branches are the committee members, and their attendance is  a mandatory requirement.  The Top Management along with all the other management encourage effective communication of SHE issues, and to be transparent during the meetings.

LEOPAD GROUP’s Top Management demonstrates visible commitment to enhance the credibility of our SHE policy and objectives, and to communicate the importance of these issues transparently in all the Group SHE Management committee meetings.  Their involvement will surely develop a safe working culture in the Group as a whole.  One way to make this a reality is to engage adequately trained and competent personnel, to educate, implement and maintain our Safety, Health and Environmental Management System.
