Leopad Kulim Donating RM 41,000.00

Leopad Kulim Branch covering the state of Kedah and Perlis was official in Kulim District Taman Makmur Mini Industrial here today.

The opening ceremony took place in the presence of all Leopad Group’s five Directors and officiated by Tengku Sri Temenggong Raja Terengganu Tengku Baharuddin.

Leopad Group situated in 2^nd Floor Wisma Leopad, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Kuala Lumpur has 8 branches locally and few oversea branches respectively. This company has ventured in the oil and gas related businesses.

Tengku Baharuddin during his opening speech said he is very happy to see the growth of Leopad Kulim which covers the state of Kedah and Perlis and he appreciated Leopad Group’s decision to share the profits derived by donating to orphanages and schools.

In conjunction with this event, below are the donation receivers:

1. Sunshine, situated behind the Kulim Convent Secondary school - RM 4000
2. Taman Tiram Kamatchi Children Home – 4000,
3. Paya Besar Dyana Asram – 4000,
4. Kulim Rumah Amal 4000,
5. Persatuan Kanak Kanak Khas – 4000,
6. Penang Saint Nicholas – 4000,
7. Lunas Wellesley Tamil School – 1000,
8. Sri Limau Primary School – RM 1000, totaling RM 31,000.

Another RM 10,000.00 was allocation for Leopad Foundation. R. Muniandy@Jega, R. Loganathan, N. Sunderaj, Puan Sonya binti Sakti Alam Syah are the directors of this company.

PETRONAS GROUP HSE MERIT AWARD, FY 2008/2009

We are proud to announce that Leopad CMC2 Melaka has once again won a Merit award in the Petronas Group HSE Awards for the year 2008/2009, under the “Implementation of Health Program “category. What makes this achievement special is that, we have won this Merit award for 3 years continuously (FY2006/2007, FY 2007/2008 and FY2008/2009 ).

This is a very rare achievement among similar contractors in Petronas. It is another great milestone for RM Leopad, and the credit goes to the team who made it possible. This is surely a morale booster to us in our determination to excel further in Health, Safety and Environmental management. Together with the achievement of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certifications last year, and this Merit awards for 3 years continuously, we can proudly say that Leopad Group is on the right track in its aim towards HSE excellence.
