It is impossible to write this without
expressing my deepest appreciation to all our Branch Managers, HSE key
personnel and their management teams, for their dedication and co-operation in
ensuring their success in the accreditation of the OHSAS 18001: 2007 and MS 1722:
Part 1: 2005 certifications this year.
On 21st November 2011, the Managing
Director of Leopad Group, Mr. R. Loganathan, received the ‘Appreciation Award ‘ on behalf of Leopad
from SIRIM QAS International Malaysia for this achievement. This event was held at the KL Convention
Center (KLCC). It was a joyous moment
not for myself alone, but for all those who worked hard with me for the past
one year towards the dream , that is this outstanding fulfilment of 100%
achievement by all our 8 operational branches.
This journey does not stop here.
These achievements serve as the milestones to help us acknowledge that
we are on the right path towards ultimate excellence in HSE. With the strong support of our Directors and
Top Management we aim to go for greater heights. The journey in front of us may be a difficult
task, but not that is impossible to achieve.
Top management commitment is heart of the OHSAS18001 standard certification. Therefore, to ensure success in the endeavor of developing, implementing and maintaining occupational health and safety is requisite for management to generate and maintain commitment for this cause.
